EVER JOY supplies EP fabric conveyor belts for industrial bulk material handling. An EP carcass uses polyester yarns in the lengthwise direction and nylon yarns across the belt. Rubber skim layers bond the fabric plies, while the carrying and pulley-side covers protect the carcass.
Applications
EP belts are selected for quarry, mine, cement raw-material, steel and port conveyors. The required construction depends on working tension, loading impact, lump size, conveyor layout and pulley diameters. An EP designation describes the reinforcement; it does not by itself establish heat, oil or flame resistance.
Specify the complete belt
- Finished belt strength and number of fabric plies.
- Belt width, required length and top/bottom cover thicknesses.
- Rubber grade and the conveyed material.
- Edge type, splice requirements and roll limits.
Total thickness alone is not enough to select a replacement. Send a datasheet or clear photo of the existing belt marking together with operating conditions.
Standards and inspection
State the required textile-belt standard, such as DIN 22102 or ISO 14890, its edition and the cover grade. Agree dimensions, tolerances, belt strength, adhesion and rubber-property acceptance criteria in the order specification. Special operating conditions require separately specified performance.
